Linda Lee Braathen, 49, passed away following a valiant battle with Leukemia. She was born December 2, 1949 in Ogden Utah to Chester and Laura (West) Bowns. She was the oldest of four. Linda was a hard worker and much was required of her as she helped raise her two brothers and sister. She eventually moved to Seattle where she met and married David Braathen. The two of them settled in the little town of Mukilteo and raised two sons. Linda was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a strong testimony of her Savior Jesus Christ. She found great joy in being a wife and mother. Her family always came first. She is survived by her husband, David Braathen; two sons, Jon David and Brian; Parents, Chet (Vivian) Bowns, Laura West; sister, Ellen Ann (Jerry) Schnicker; two brothers, Robert (Allison) Bowns, Dennis (Judy) Bowns; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She is missed.
