We, as a family, lost a very special lady. Our beloved Linda, wife, mother and grandmother, lost her battle
with the disease, Dementia, on December 23, 2023. Her dementia sapped her of her energy and she passed peacefully with her family at her side.
Linda Marie (Berry) Fosse was born June 19, 1941 in Seattle to parents William (Harvey) Berry and
Elenore (Weingardt) Berry, who have predeceased her and she leaves a sister, Marjorie Hill of Kirkland.
Linda graduated from Shoreline High School class of 1959, and in November 1960, she happily married her husband of 63 years Ron Fosse. They raised two children, a son Curtis Fosse and a daughter Lisa (Fosse) Bean, residents of the Juanita/Kirkland area.
Other family members are Lisa's husband Paul Bean and daughters Danielle and Nicole James, who brought much joy to their Gram!
Linda was an active person starting with coaching the first Kirkland National Little League softball for girls team
to the World Series, (2nd place) in 1974, through Juanita High Softball and Baseball teams scorekeeper for 4 years.
Linda was a professional florist, generously supported Seattle Children's as a guild member and auction chairperson, and ultimately was an active member of the Eastside Quilters for several years, where she made many friends and fond memories and enjoyed sewing and retreat outings with her quilters. She frequently contributed quilts for charities and hospital distribution.
Linda lived in the same house in the Juanita area and maintained many lifelong relationships for 60+ years and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
At her request there will not be a service at this time. Her family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date.
Donations may be made in her name to Seattle Children's or your favorite charity.
