

Linda Miller Warren, 86, of Racine, WI, and Seattle, WA died October 23, 2025 at her senior residence home. Linda was born in Milwaukie, WI to Richard and Jean Miller, the middle of their three children. The family home in Racine was at the shore of Lake Michigan, and held many fond memories. After graduating from Mary A. Burnham School in Northampton, MA, Linda attended Smith College, graduating with a BA in Psychology. She then went on to University of Washington and graduated with a Masters in Social Work. Linda spent more than forty years as a dedicated social worker, including many rewarding years at Harborview and Highline Hospitals. Linda had a lifelong passion for choral singing. She traveled throughout Europe in her Smith College Glee Club. She joined a medieval madrigal group, Pastime Singers, with her longtime best friend Dr. Barbara Delateur. Linda also sang in the choirs at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Seattle First Baptist Church and Temple De Hirsch. She was raised Catholic and raised her children in the Catholic faith. Over the years, she gravitated more towards her husband’s faith of Judaism and formally converted in 2004. Linda loved dogs all her life, especially Black Labradors, and had a special bond with her Amazing Grace, and continued to adopt rescue labs throughout her life (Zoey and Sierra).
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Michael Warren;
her son, Joseph Warren, and his wife, Michelle;
her daughter, Deborah Collins, and her husband, Jesse;
her niece, Susan Petterson Miller, and her husband, Åke Petterson;
her nieces, Ellie Boesewetter (husband Will) and Janine Warren (husband Ryan Thomas);
her nephew, Erin Warren;
her grandnephews, William Miller and Oliver Miller (wife Elin);
and her great-grandniece, Ella Miller.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Warren, and her siblings, Greg Miller and Martha Miller.
Memorials may be made to Temple De Hirsch Sinai Samuel Goldfarb Music Fund, PAWS Rescue, or a charity of choice.
