Lorna Lafferty

Born December 5, 1914 in LaBelle, Idaho. Lorna was a loving and dedicated mother to seven children, Raymond Goodson of San Bernardino, CA, Loretta Flowers of Idaho Falls, ID, Chloe Addison of Chula Vista, CA, Michael Lafferty of National City, CA, Patrick Lafferty, who preceded her in death, Colleen Lafferty-Lennon of Seattle, WA and Terrence Lafferty of Port Jefferson, NY. She raised her children in the Idaho area and then moved to settle in Southern California in 1946. In 1984, she moved to Seattle where she lived the remainder of her life. She was an adored grandmother to twenty-one, a great-grandmother to twenty-six and a great-great grandmother to three. She was truly loved by all and a mother to more than just her own children. Her kind and generous spirit was an inspiration to her family and friends. Her sense of humor never left her and was admired greatly. But most, her unconditional love has transpired through her family and will carry on. She passed peacefully on March 15, 2001 surrounded by her children and family who loved and adored her dearly. We were truly blessed to have her as our rock and foundation. Services will be held Saturday, March 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Green Lake Plaza Apt. 500 NE 70th, Seattle, WA.
