Margaret Janet Elliott

November 19, 1921 - August 9, 2013

Margaret J Elliott passed away peacefully on August 9, 2013 at the age of 91, a life long

resident of Seattle.

She was the daughter of John C and Ellen Roell. She was a sister of John C Roell Jr

(Dec’d), Eleanor Roberts (Dec’d) and Barbara Smith (Garner).

She was an active mother of three boys David (Karen), John Jr. (Irma) and Steven

(Sandy). Grandchildren Erika, Dustin, Shane, Danny, with many great grandchildren.

In 1941 she married John (Bud) J Elliott Sr (Dec’d), a wife of 60 years. After World

War II, the family moved from Rainier Valley to West Seattle.

Margaret worked as a secretary and retired from Hartford Boiler and Insurance Company.

As the boys went on with their lives, Marg and Bud started traveling. They visited places

of Hawaii, Panama Canal, Caribbean, Portugal, Northern Africa.

Margaret also enjoyed being a Square Dance Caller, a member of the Elks RV Club, and

Highland Park Dance Club.

Six years after Bud’s passing in 2001 she moved to Normandy Park Assisted Living and

remained there until passing.

Ave SW, Seattle WA and the Funeral will be on Wednesday Aug 21, at 12:00 pm

Internment to follow at 2:30 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 6701 30th Ave SW, Seattle,

WA 98126.
