Mario Javellana Betita, Jr. was born in Brunswick, Georgia on March 15th, 1971 to Zenova and Mario Betita. On November 7th, 2020, he lost his valiantly fought 2 year battle with gastric cancer and passed away peacefully at home in Snohomish, Washington, encircled by the love of his family.
Mario was a successful and well-respected financial representative for an insurance and financial company. He was also a strong man of faith. Mario served as a church elder and was a beloved youth mentor at the Greater Seattle Filipino-American Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was also active in community service and volunteered at Mary’s Place.
Mario was also a beloved husband and devoted father of two. He was a sports fanatic and a die hard Seahawks fan, an avid hiker, fitness enthusiast, and loved to talk about finance. He was also a foodie and knew all the best places to eat, but also loved to cook at home for family and friends. Mario had an infectious zest for life, a great sense of humor, and was beloved by many friends and family. To Mario, a stranger was just a friend he hadn't met yet.
Mario’s humor, sense of adventure, joy for living, strength of character, and supportive nature will be dearly missed by many. He is survived by his devoted wife, Anabelle M. Betita, daughters, Sophia Betita and Sabrina Betita. He is also survived by his parents, Mario S. Betita and Zenova J. Betita, sisters, Marizen Betita Hobson and Michelle Betita Spinrad, nieces, Amanda Gapud and Abigail Spinrad, and nephew, Noah Spinrad.
