

She was born on October 27, 1935 in Flemington, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Viola Evans and the late Robert Auston Cook. Marion Lucille Cook met Clyde Dillard in Flemington, West Virginia. They married on October 18, 1957 in Seattle, Washington. Marion and Clyde Dillard have 5 children, (Octavia L. Dillard-In Spirit), Cynthia B. Dillard, Celeste A. Dillard, Judith M. Dillard, and Mitchell E. Dillard, 2 bonus children (Lynda Dillard and Henry Oopong), and 3 grandchildren, (Taylor R. Dillard, Andreas C. Dillard, and Morgan K.C. Dillard).
Marion L. Dillard was a homemaker, a Customer Service Worker for Pacific Iron Fabrics, and later became a Food Service Supervisor for Seattle Public Schools. Marion L. Dillard had a deep love for traveling abroad to Ghana, Africa and Mexico. She loved the beach and sunny weather. Marion L. Dillard was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her life was filled with a deep appreciation for inner peace and she treasured the simple gifts life abundantly offered her. Marion L. Dillard’s spirit will continue to inspire all who knew and loved. Her love for life and family will be fondly remembered.
Marion L. Dillard’s graveside service will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 24, 2025 at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 11111 Aurora Avenue N. Seattle, WA 98133. Her memorial reception will take place from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Evergreen Washelli Main Building (same address as above). Please park by the Main Building upon your arrival for map to graveside service.
