A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marjorie was born in Seattle WA on March 7, 1924 to Hilma and Emil Geisor. She passed away at Virginia Mason Hospital on May 8, 2009 after a long struggle with her health. She is survived by Graham "Ben" Phillips, her loving husband of 65 years, her daughter Barbara S. Willis of Carson City, Nevada and son David G. Phillips of Snoqualmie, Washington, grand-daughter Elizabeth Harrell of Incline Village, Nevada and grand-son David G. Phillips II of Charlottesville, Virginia and two great grandchildren.
Marjorie graduated from Ballard High School in 1942. Shortly after high school, while working at Boeing, she met her one and only husband Ben. Marjorie and Ben were married in 1943 and remained in and around the community of Ballard for her entire life. As a homemaker she loved to cook, garden, read, do cross-word puzzles, travel and go to movies.
Late in life Marjorie's health prevented her from doing many of the things that she loved so she kept a positive outlook and focused on the things that she could do. She would help Ben with cross-word puzzles, converse with Ben, her children and friends and watch her favorite television programs.
Marjorie was proud of her Scandinavian heritage and was devoted to her family, home, and friends. She was downright fun to be around.
"Margie-Pargie-Puddin'-n-Pie" you will be missed, but you'll always be with the people you loved.
