I love you stepdad. I miss you everyday just like your family does. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. This Wednesday marks a year without you. It’s going to really hurt me.

Hello friends and family of the great Matt Gallardo. I met Matt in Eugene Oregon in the late 1980’s, and we became instant friends. I truly regret having lost touch with him a few years later. He was a stand alone character and I will always cherish the times we skateboard together back then. Matt was larger than life and death cannot ever change that. I will never forget him, and just one more thing, it’s a go!

Im Matthews wife, well widow now n im just in shock still!. We were togethervfor 24 yrs n wouldve been married for 20 yrs on the 22nd of December n i know hes in a better place now n he can rest now but it doesnt make the pain any easier to deal w!. We have 3 beautiful n talented kids; Matt Ervin n Leela n Samuel Gallardo n its just such a tragedy for us all n for Matt n i ehen we met it was LOVE @ 1ST SIGHT❣. His big brown beautiful eyes n the way he looked @ me w love n he was the ABSOLUTE BEST THING TO HAPPEN IN MY LIFE BESIDES OUR CHILDREN!. THANKS Y'ALLS FOR ALL THE HEARTFELT, KINDNESS, COMPASSION n LOVE..

To my Uncle Tony, Aunt Mary Lou, Melissa, Aaron, and to Matthew's family... I just wanted to share with you this very old picture of the last time I saw Matthew.

I have many fond memories of Matt. Seeing him meant spending time with family which is something I have always cherished. He was very mellow and always incredibly nice, even to his baby cousin. Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers. Uncle Tony, Aunt Mary Lou, Missy and Aaron - Sending you hugs from WV.

My condolences to Mr and Mrs Gallardo as well as Matthew’s entire family. Though I never met him, I have cherished my friendship with his sister Melissa. May he Rest In Peace.

I always looked up to Matt in school (maybe even had a crush on him). He was always so full of life and adventure.  While I haven't seen him since then, he impacted how I look at and move through life.
