Mel was preceded in death by his Father Roy Hiroshi Inui. He is survived by his mother Bette Matsue Inui, wife Patricia and sister Julee (Alvin). Melvin was the father of two sons Kevin (Kristy) and Jonathan (Sokhour) and was the grandfather of two girls Abigail and Madison.
In his professional career Melvin was a salesman, his warm smile, humble demeanor and inquisitive nature made it easy for him to relate to anyone. Outside of work Melvin loved all things Hawaiian, music, photography, gardening and spending time with his family.
A celebration of Melvin's life will be held at Tibbett's Creek Manor, 750 17th Ave. N.W., Issaquah, 98027 on April 29, 2018 from 11:30 to 2:00 pm.
