

Michael was born on September 8, 1957, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, to the late Furman and Lurline Cramer. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Furman Allen Cramer; his sister, Vera Shuler; and two brothers-in-law, Calvin Cain and Robert Zimmerman.
He leaves to cherish his memory four sisters: Mary (Samuel) Owens, Joanne Cain, Lavern (Clinton) Tyler, and Theresa Zimmerman; two brothers: Gregory Cramer and Jerome Cramer; one sister-in-law, Jessie Cramer; a special friend: Geraldine Butler and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Michael was raised in the Rowesville community and was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church in his youth. He received his education in the public schools of Bowman, South Carolina, before leaving home as a young adult to pursue a career as a drywall contractor. His work led him to live in several cities, including Washington, D.C., New Orleans, Miami, and ultimately Seattle, where he made his home.
Known for his fun-loving spirit and clever sense of humor, Michael enjoyed a lively debate and always had an engaging anecdote to share. His presence brought energy and laughter to those around him, ensuring that time spent with him was never dull.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate his life. His family and friends will forever cherish his memory and the joy he brought into their lives.
