

Michael R. Gongliewski, 48 of Bothell, WA, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017. Michael was born October 1, 1969, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Robert and Pamela (Sanderson) Gongliewski. Michael is survived by his mother and father; brother, Scott Gongliewski; sister, Cyndi Wagner (Lowell) and niece Brianna Gongliewski, nephews, Dillon Gongliewski and Taylor Wagner. Michael attended St. Brendan School, Blanchet High School, Linfield College, St Thomas Seminary, and University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, with a Fine Arts Major and Geology Minor. He was employed as a Communications Trainer with AT&T and T-Mobil.
Michael was formerly married to Julie Leary of Edmonds,WA . Michael is also survived by his faithful companions, Clara, a Golden Retriever, and Buddy, a Chocolate Labrador.
Michael was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church, Bothell. As a student he was an alter server. Previously he was a member at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Edmonds, WA, where he was an usher. Michael was a member of Knights of Columbus. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, music, biking, swimming, golf, running, gardening and painting. Michael qualified and completed the Boston Marathon and Ironman in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He was a loving, caring, athletic, hardworking, giving, loyal, sweet, kind, trusting, and outgoing person.
Mass will be held January 8, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 10100 NE 192nd Street, Bothell, WA. In lieu of Flowers remembrances can be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or Unbound.org (a sponsorship).
