Michael J. HOOVER Died peacefully on August 4, 2009 after a long illness and short battle with pneumonia. Michael was born on July 9, 1941 in Seattle, the 7th child and son of Roy and Edna Hoover. He grew up in the family home in the Lake City neighborhood. Michael will always be remembered for being everyone's friend and his "Hi You" greeting to everyone he met. Michael loved wrestling and the WWF, NASCAR racing and his Saturday night sing along with Lawrence Welk. He was known by many in the University area from the upholstery repair business, Seattle Fire Station 17 and the used car dealership where he was just one of the guys. We would like to thank everyone from Manning's and Son Upholstery, the men and women of the Seattle Fire Department, Station 17, staff of Wild West Cars and Trucks, the kind hearts and loving caregivers at Volunteers of America, Greater Residential Options in Burlington, WA, Hospice and the doctors and staff from Skagit Valley and United General Hospitals.
