Mildred Mabel Hersman, 104, of Kirkland, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013. She was born September 22, 1908, the daughter of the late Herman Frank and Dora Alice (Riddle) Harvey. Mildred is survived by three children, Sharlene Hauge, Donald Hersman and Kenneth Hersman. She was a member of the Lynden Methodist Church where she was active in youth and women's groups. Mildred enjoyed writing history stories about Lynden, searching geneology and loved spending time with people.
