Sad to hear about Mildred. We have joyful memories of her and her family. Living so far apart we used to look forward to her annual Christmas letter. She was so kind and when visiting her in Lake Forest Park we were always treated with great hospitality. In 2008 Mildred visited Sweden for the last time and we tried to return that hospitality by taking her to family places and meeting members of her Swedish family. We really enjoyed having her. Maria´s parents Hjalmar (second cousin) and Elsa still remember Mildred´s visit in 1950 together with her father John.
We think of her family and send our love and sympathy.

I remember Millie well. She was a treasured member of the family. I recall her cheerful smile at many a holiday gathering and dinner. I know her cousins Lotta and Maria, and Elsa and Hjalmar, in Sweden, have fond memories of Millie's many visits to see family in Sweden.

I am the daughter of Charlotte Lind Fletcher and granddaughter of Archie Lind of Seattle.

A well deserved rest for your lovely Millie. My sympathy to all her family. Love always, Jeane
