

Molly was born in Detroit, Michigan. Molly and her family moved to McHenry, IL in 1966 when she was 5 years old. Molly graduated from McHenry High School in 1978. In the summer of 1980, Molly moved to the Seattle area, which became her primary residence until her passing in 2024.
Molly McGowan left us prematurely at the age of 63 in Shoreline, Washington. Molly was a beloved sister, a cherished friend, and a woman of deep faith and kindness.
In her earlier years, Molly was an avid tennis fan and player, bringing both competitive spirit and joy to the court. Beyond her athletic pursuits, Molly was blessed with a firm Christian faith, which she lived out through her generosity and warm-hearted nature. She had a creative gift that she freely shared with those around her, offering her talents and uplifting affirmations to friends and family alike.
Molly will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her warmth, creativity, and steadfast faith leave an indelible mark on our hearts. May she rest in peace, held in the grace and love she so freely gave to others.
Molly is survived by her three brothers: Mike, John and Hugh McGowan. Molly’s parents are now deceased John J. and Marianne McGowan.
The Memorial Service will take place December 8, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church 1315 North 160th Street Shoreline, WA 98133.
