Myrtle was born Sept 27, 1918 in Des Lacs, North Dakota to Maurice and Sadie Casey. She grew up in Springbrook, North Dakota. Myrtle loved sports. She was most proud of her basketball days in High School when she made the Center on the Allstate Team. She loved to crochet, bowl, and play Bingo. She married Perlin Thomas (Tommy) LaBarge from Williston, North Dakota in 1940. They moved to Seattle in the 50's. Myrtle worked hard to raise her family. She worked 10 years at Providence Hospital, Seattle. She worked 20 years at the U.S. Postal Service, and retired in 1981.
She was a charter member of St. Matthews Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Perlin, of 43 years and her daughter and son, Corrine LaBarge and Baby David LaBarge. She is survived by her son, Gerald LaBarge (Sharon), Peggy Natkong (Albert), Mary Waller (Mike). 9 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and 10 Great-Great Grandchildren.
