Nelson passed away December 21, 2015, in Seattle at the age of 74. He was born on April 24, 1941, in Roxas City, Philippines. Nelson graduated with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from National University in Manila, in 1964. He came to the United States in 1969, and went on to work for the Lockheed Shipyard, Bremerton Naval Shipyard, and most recently, Boeing for 18 years, retiring in 2005. His passion was to provide for his family, and his hard work and sacrifice was testament to that; often working many hours of overtime or back to back shifts between two jobs. Nelson took pride in being able to send his children through Catholic primary and secondary schools. He also sent both of his children to the University of Washington. Nelson married Magdalena Dolly on November 20, 1972; together for 43 years until his passing. Nelson is survived by his wife Dolly; son Neil; daughter Michelle; son-in-law Gabe; granddaughters Jordana and Laila; siblings Nita Bonilla, Mabini, Ramon, Manolito and Terri Aguiling, Josie Samson, Gerald and Leo Aguiling, Jr.
Nelson will be greatly missed by all who knew him and his big heart.
