Born May 13, 1937 to Lyman and Edlaine Heyerdahl in Williston, ND; passed away October 25, 2010 in Everett WA at 4:14PM after having Parkinson's Disease for many years and complications after a severe fall.
Norman held Master's Degrees in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Computer Information Science and an MBA. He worked for Fluke Mfg. in Everett, Advanced Tech. Labs in Bothell, Tektronix in Oregon and NCR and Harshaw Chemical in Ohio. He was an avid reader of fiction, scientific, economics and world history. He loved hiking, mountain climbing and camping.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Delores "Dee" Heyerdahl; son, Mark C. Heyerdahl; daughters, Kristina M. (Troy) Fortmann, Emily K. Heyerdahl and Sue J. (Troy) Lundquist; grandchildren, Clark & Pierce Heyerdahl, Rori & Emma Fortmann, Madison, Morgan & Lexi Lundquist; brother, Eugene (Jane A'Lee) Heyerdahl; sisters, Nordis Heyerdahl and Lois (Allan) Siegel.
