Norman Kenneth Miller

"Ken" was born, November 6th,1937 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He joined the Coast Guard

at the age of 18 in 1956 and served for 6 years. 1956 - 1962.

He married Barbara Conklin on October 3rd 1957 and together they had and raised three

children. Barbara preceded him in death November 23rd, 2003. He then married Georgia Casey

in 2007.

Ken worked most of his life in, on or around the water and was a member of the Master, Mates

and Pilots Union and a US Merchant Mariner. He loved fishing and gardening and was known

for his green thumb. Ken's Tomatoes were coveted!

Ken is survived by two sisters in California whom he adored, Kathleen and her husband Gail

Hermann and Jo Anne and her husband Steve Flock. His wife Georgia Miller and his three children Matt and Mark Miller and daughter Becky Bekkala. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ken loved his family most of all. He was a good man and will truly be missed, a memorial in Ken's honor will be held at a later date.
