Patty grew up in Willingboro, New Jersey, where she built lifelong friendships and a deep love of reading that stayed with her always. Seven years ago, she made the move to Snoqualmie, Washington, to be closer to family — a decision rooted in her devotion to those she loved most.
Patty was the proud and devoted mother of her two sons, Richard I. Anderson and Stephen D. Anderson, who were the center of her world. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine, who passed shortly after her birth. Patty is also survived by her mother, Mary T. Keating; her sisters, Susan T. Birkeland and Barbara Polizzo, and her brother-in-law, Joseph Polizzo. She was a cherished daughter, sister, and aunt, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
An avid reader, Patty found joy, comfort, and adventure in books. She had a quiet strength, a thoughtful nature, and a heart that stayed closely connected to her family.

Patty will be remembered for her love of family, her gentle spirit, and the many stories she carried — both the ones she read and the ones she lived.
