Pearl was born on June 29, 1916 in Evanston, Illinois to Henry and Carry Fredricks. After moving to Seattle, she graduated from Ballard High School. She is the former wife of Roy W. Carlson. She worked at Virginia Mason Hospital as an L.P.N. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood, Washington. She enjoyed reading, embroidery, gardening, and travel, but most of all, she loved her family. Survivors include three sons, Douglas, Fredrick, and Gary Carlson, daughters Shirley Hendrickson and Judy Getman, all of Washington, 12 grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, brothers John Fredricks of Seattle and Fred Fredricks of Arizona, sister Cecelia Burrington of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her great grandson Zacharias Davis, sister Emma Hesketh, and brother Ray Fredrickson. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25th at 11 AM, Trinity Lutheran Church.
