Renate A. Timlick

Renate Aina Caune Timlick of Des Moines, Washington passed away January 8, 2016. She was born in Vejava, Latvia on August 27, 1932. She graduated from Orcas Island High School, Eastsound, Washington in 1953. She graduated from Carlyle Schools, Inc. in Seattle, Washington in 1958 specializing in Physician Office Assistant. She was married to George David Timlick on April 10, 1959 for 50 years. She worked with her husband in several businesses the last being Timlick’s Auto Rebuild in Kent, Washington where she was a business associate and co-owner. She had a passion for sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, and cooking. She is survived by her children Cynthia Barbara Timlick Aller (Steven), George Wesley Timlick, and Laura Lee Timlick. She had seven grandchildren including Ashley Elizabeth Aller, Henry Tyler Aller, Bethany Elaine Timlick Preece (Christopher), Steven Edward Timlick (Breah), Julie Ellen Timlick Rodriguez (Angel), Samuel Enoch Timlick (Makani), and Grace Emily Timlick. She also had nine great-grandchildren including Caleb, Zachary, Nathan, and Daniel Preece as well as Isabella, Zoe, Allicia, Gabriella, and Amelia Rodriguez. Funeral arrangements will be held at Yarington Funeral Home, 10708 16th Avenue S.W., Seattle, WA 98126. Viewing will be January 14 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on January 15, 2016. Interment will follow immediately after the service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery at 6701 30th Avenue SW, Seattle, WA 98126. Flower arrangements appreciated.
