Born in Seattle, 02/24/1944, to Richard & Tina Norton. Rick was an Air Force veteran, race car driver, racing enthusiast, Oregon Ducks supporter and Seahawks fan. Rick is survived by his 3 children; Denise (Jim) Wilson of California, Christine (Dean) Crossland of Ohio, and Richard (Kim) Norton III, of Ohio, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and his sister, Carole (George) Smythe of WA; sister, Jan (Steve Myers) Robbins; brother, Jeff (Marcie) Robbins and father, Bill (Barbara) Robbins. Rick spent over 40 years in the trucking industry as truck driver & safety trainer. The last years of his career were spent as a highly regarded Certified Director of Safety at Sound Delivery Services in Puyallup, WA, and an Expert Witness of the court for trucking related cases. He passed away peacefully September 4, 2015, surrounded by family and friends.
