He is survived by his son Richard; granddaughter, Carrie; grandson, Alex Crowder; niece, Kathy (Roger) Brownlee; nephew, Bruce (Jan) Edwards; and great-nephews, Jim Doss, Kiel and Blake Edwards.
Bob was highly principled and always set an example of consistent integrity when dealing with friend or foe. Stubborn, yes, and strong-willed with an absolute sense of respect and kindness towards others.
Fitz had an inner richness and was always grateful and willing to return more than expected. He truly was a joy to be around.
Bob's family and friends will rejoice in having shared his life and will always cherish their memories with generations that follow. Bob was a special friend to us all.
At peace now, go forward and join your wife (Sharon), brother (Marvin), mother (Ethel), sister (Ruth) and best friend (Gene) on your journey ahead.
