

Addie Roberta “Bobbe” Holt Sachs was born August 14, 1924 to Maude Herron Holt and Ross S. Holt in Clinton, Maine. She graduated from Clinton High School in June 1941, and was valedictorian of her class. She graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine in June 1945, and where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She is preceded in death by the love of her life husband Donald G. Sachs and survived by her son Jonathan Sachs, daughter-in-law Joan Sachs, sister Beverly Wiegand, brother Ross Holt, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. Bobbe will be missed by many other extended family members and dear friends.
Bobbe was a loving wife to Don for 53 years supporting his aeronautical career at the Boeing Company while holding down a teaching job in the Seattle Highline School District and in Omaha, Nebraska for over 20 years.
In her later years Bobbe moved to Wesley Gardens where she participated in many activities including playing bridge, working in the flea market, and being a representative for new people moving into Wesley Homes. She was still an active parishioner at John Knox and attended Vespers at Wesley Gardens on Sundays.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the many doctors and nurses who cared for her throughout her life at Minor James Medical Center. Also a special thanks to the staff at Wesley Homes and the Wesley Health Center in Des Moines, WA.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 109 S.W. Normandy Rd., Seattle, WA on Thursday, April 24th at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Wounded Warriors or American Heart Association. We will miss you.
