
She was born June 26th 1922 in Bucharest, Romania, the oldest of three children born to Rosa and Jonas Banyai. As a child the family moved to Budapest Hungary untill 1956 she escaped with her husband Paul Mueller and 13 year old child Les Mueller, to the United States and settled in Ballard.
There Rose enjoyed watching her son excell in sports.
Rose was a member of the American Business Association and the Hungarian Association of Seattle. She retired from 20 years of working cosmetics at Nordstroms, to become a beloved knitting instructor at Seattle's Tricotet. She continued to make many trips back to Hungary to visit family and friends.
She is survived by two grandsons Damon Andrea Mueller of Yakima, Bryan Mueller of Everett.
Two great grandsons Nicholas and Dylan Mueller. Nephew Gyori Zso Makkos. Great Neice/Nephew Chris and Ester Makkos. Special friend and companion Magaret Jordan.
She was proceeded in death by her son Les Mueller in 2005.
Her family would like to offer a special thank you to Maggie Jordan for her love and dedication to thier grandmother. They would also like to acknowledge the hard work and care given to the residents at Pinehurst Park Terrace where Rose lived for the last four years.
Memorial Service will be held at St. James Cathedral on Saturday, August 11th at 10:00am.
