Ruth Alice Hayes, 87 passed away April 18, 2010 peacefully in her sleep in Seattle, Washington. She was born in Springville, New York on September18, 1922. Ruth was a devoted wife and loving mother. She loved to garden and cook, but mostly care for her family. Ruth worked at Railway Express during the War and through her husband Gene's college years. After her children were in school she was a real estate office manager. With her husband's aerospace career, the family moved many times throughout the US. Before retirement she and Gene enjoyed an assignment in Europe. After retirement Ruth received her greatest joy, nine grandchildren and one great grand child. Ruth is survived by her husband Eugene Thomas Hayes of 64 years. She is also survived by four children William Hayes (Deborah), Nancy Bennett, Patrick Hayes (Patricia), and Michael Hayes (Judy). Grand children Leslie, Lyndsey, and Peter Hayes, Megan Bennett/Hood (Jay), Brandon Bennett, Bryan and Mathew Hayes, Haley and Libby Hayes and a great grandchild Kailey Hood.
