Ruth Misao Yoshida

She was born March 6, 1925 to Sashichi (Sam) and Matsu Nochi in Morrill, Nebraska. Ruth attended business school in Denver before moving to Seattle, WA where she married Jack N Yoshida on December 6, 1949 and raised two sons, Ron and Mark.

Ruth is survived by her son Mark Yoshida and wife Nancy of Seattle and grandson Tyler Yoshida of Portland, Oregon. She is also survived by her two sisters, Mae Sakurada, Arvada Colorado and Helen Okura, Seattle Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack N Yoshida 1991, son Ronald K Yoshida 2020, and grandson Austin M Yoshida 1986.

Ruth was a dedicated wife and mother, but also a good friend to those she came to meet. While raising her family she volunteered at her children’s school. She volunteered with Kokoro Kai at Nikkei Manor, a senior living community for 28 years.
