Stacy and her twin sister (Lynne) were born in Edmonds, WA on June 17, 1975. She graduated from Redmond High School and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington. Stacy was married to Ryan Rus on September 13, 1997 and had two sons she adored, Camden 2002 and Owen in 2007.
Stacy worked as a real estate agent and sold hundreds of homes to clients who inevitably became lifelong friends. Stacy showed love through acts of service and countless schools, booster clubs and community causes were the beneficiaries of her endless passion and energy. She had a keen eye for beauty, design, and organization and created a beautiful home and life around those she loved. She was an excellent cook who could throw a party like few others. A nature and animal lover, she could be stopped in her tracks by a hummingbird or a sunset every single time.
Stacy is broken heartedly survived by her parents, Curt and Alice Fleck, twin sister Lynne Houserman, brother Ryan Engles, husband Ryan and sons Camden (19) and Owen (15), beloved dogs Oscar and Lulu and countless other family and friends.
Stacy is preceded in death by her sister, Holly Dierling and her grandparents, Arvin and Rayota Fleck and Harold and Beverly Lang.
A celebration of Stacy's life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 5 2022 at Eastside Church in Bothell, WA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Oliver and Friends Animal Sanctuary. The family of Stacy Rus wishes to thank the intensive care unit medical staff of Swedish Hospital First Hill in Seattle, WA.]
