When I see the beautiful things of nature, the memories of you come flowing back. 
My heart misses my beautiful sister and our many memories, you are never far from me. 
Until we meet again. 

You said to me "I will sore with the Eagles".
When I am reunited with my beloved sister,  I will sore next to you with the eagles. 

Your beloved Xena , she is thriving in the care of your wonderful nephew who loves and cherishes her in your memory. 

Was thinking of you today Mom, as always.  I saw FOUR eagles flying together over The Sound this week.  Soaring and sweeping and I'm sure I saw one tip a wing to me.  ;-)

Susan and going on our jaunts to Mt Raineer, Okanogen forest, Hurricane Ridge, our Agate beach and other places. We always had a blast!..My sister and I took care of each other all our lives.

Dearest Aunt Susie,
I will always be internally grateful for all the memories and laughter that we shared.  Thank you for being such a beautiful woman in my life. I'm lucky to have an angel such as yourself watching over me. Until we meet again. Love you much.

My dear Sister we shared so many trips to Starbucks for coffee and pumpkin bread I'm sure we should have purchased stock in the company. 
The trips to Laconner together and side trips to search for eagles nests. 
We laughed and laughed. 
And I could never forget you telling 150 guests at my wedding that I wet the bed story, but in true fashion like an older sister you shared the younger sibling story. 
I was mortified but along with 150 guests we laughed and laughed. 
Laughter was good for our soul and we shared so much of it. 
Our trips to the beach and tree lined streets. So many memories together. 
You helped shape my life, my inspiration and my hero.
I adored you and I will miss you always. 


I will miss you always my beautiful sister. 
I still here your laugh, I look at the trees and hear your voice. 
Your words of wisdom echo in my mind. 
You were always there for me, always. We shared so many talks and little trips. 
You were a wonderful sister, beautiful and smart. 
My heart aches but my soul knows we will be together again. 

Dearest Mom, 

A vivid memory of mine was during your first visit to Australia, shortly after Jayden was born.  You were such an amazing, loving and supportive mother to me, to see you with our son was a joy I cannot express.  In the early months, Dan and I were exhausted, sleep was so precious.  I remember waking early one morning at 4am expecting to rise for Jayden but instead hearing your sweet voice singing a lullaby to him so he would go back to sleep.  Thank you, Mom.

Childhood memories are full of our adventures in Los Angeles, the art museums we visited, plays we attended and listening in on the philosophical discussions with your dear friends.  Our hikes through the Olympic National  Park were awe inspiring in their beauty, you had so much knowledge to share with me.

You gave yourself to our family your entire life, we all appreciate and love you so much.

"Take Flight"

I soared on high one day in spring and caught the air currents to lift and bank and turn, and spiral even higher.

I touched the clouds and saw their silver lining that day in spring,
soaring on a high.

The birds soared with me, matching wing to wing.

We banked and turned and dove and climbed, 
to explore the heavens that were within reach.

God’s eye glanced down and perceived my efforts, to match his birds in flight.

Humbly I tipped a wing to explain my graceless moves, 

and practiced for the day my soul would take flight.
