Teresa Marie Beltran Kessler

Teresa Marie Beltran Kessler of Las Vegas, NV, age 69, passed away peacefully, Monday morning January 9, 2023 from Stage 4 Cancer. She was born on July 3, 1953 in Anchorage, AK (Elmendorf Air Force Base), daughter of the late Santiago (Jim) Beltran and Eloise (Castro) Harman. Teresa is survived by her son, Carlos Marrero and her grandsons Troy and Trevor; mother, Eloise Castro Harman; siblings, Luis “Louie” Beltran (Georgia “Jori”), Cecile Cruz (Edwin), Delana Beltran-Haag (Derek), Karen Aguirre (Ray), sister-in-law, Anna Kessler Singer (Michael); several cousins, several nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews, and godchild/niece, Nicole Beltran-Cunningham (Troy). Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Kessler; father, Jim Beltran, and countless other loved ones. Teresa attended grade school and high school (graduated 1971) at Immaculate Conception in Seattle. After high school she moved to Anchorage, AK and met her first husband, William “Indio” Marrero. And then the love of her life was born, Carlos, in September 1972. In 1991 she married Daniel “Danny” Kessler. They were together until his passing in 2017. Teresa’s work history included the Internal Revenue Service as a taxpayer service representative, Pfizer as a Millwright and Utilities Aide, Foxwood as a dealer, Pit Boss at Little Creek Casino in Shelton, WA. She also held administrative positions in various offices. And lastly was a help desk account representative before her retirement. For a number of years, Teresa and Danny raised Rottweilers and showed them at different dog shows Her hobbies throughout her life included, traveling, dogs, canoeing, sailing, bicycling, horseback riding, softball, bowling, skiing, and slot machines! Teresa loved to laugh, visit with family, and party. We will have a celebration of life on January 31, 2023 to share our memories of her life. Teresa will be missed by all.
