December 23, 1922 and passed peacefully at his home on November 29, 2017 in Puyallup,
Washington. He was preceded in death by his wife Harriet, his grandson Paul, and his beloved
dog Andy. He is survived by his children Peggy Villeneuve, Thomas E. Anderson and Julie
Cargill. Also survived by his daughter in law Janet Anderson, his sister Betty Verlanic, his
grandchildren Cheri Villeneuve, Jennifer Lacey and husband Dan, Amy Anderson and Andrea
Cargill, and four great granddaughters Brittney, Vanessa, Kaylie and Karlie, and one great great
granddaughter Kadyn. Tom is survived by his companion Trudy Pal. Tom served in the navy
during World War II. He retired from the Puget Sound Naval shipyard from machine shop 31,
finishing his career at the U.S. Naval Shipyard in Subic Bay, Philippines, supervising the
machine shop. He moved from Montana to Tacoma in 1956 and then to Puyallup where he
resided for 33 years.
A funeral mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup on
Tuesday, December 12 at 11:00 A.M.
