Thomas Glen Moore was born in Casper, Wyoming and resided in Salt Lake City in his youth. After acquiring an MBA degree, he moved to the San Francisco area, of which the last 34 of those years he made Mill Valley his home. Tom had a successful career in Information Technology as a corporate systems analyst with Del Monte and Nestle. In his retirement years, Tom immensely enjoyed time on his boat, the "Moore Fun", and served with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Before catching the boating bug, Tom was an avid tennis player and snow skier.
He served on the ski patrol in Tahoe's Heavenly Valley for several years. Another of Tom's favorite events was attending the annual Abalone Dive held at the end of summer with his friends. Tom also enjoyed genealogy, tracing the family tree back in history. He kept in close contact with family, including traveling with his sister Carol and many visits to the Seattle area. Tom's parents Glen "Dinty" Moore and Dorothy Moore and his sister Carol Ann Rivkin preceded him in death. Tom is survived by his nephew Girilal Scott Hansen (Prarthana Theresa Canfield), niece Maia McQuillan (Chris), Grand Nephew Dane, and niece Heidi Hansen, all in the Seattle area. Cousins Kris Muller, Gretchen Muller, and Doug Hanson, all in California, Cousin Jim Moore in Washington State and his many wonderful friends around the country.
Tom's sweet, gentle, easy going nature will be missed by all.
