Born February 17, 1918 in Seattle, WA. Passed away Sept. 7, 2003. Tom graduated from Lincoln High School. He held the state High School record for the high jump. He attended the Univ. of Washington engineering program and was active in football and track. Tom served in WWII Army Air Corps flying B-24?s in the Pacific. Tom and his brother co-owned Barrett Brothers Fuel Company. He also owned Barrett Hardware and Sporting Goods in Seattle. Tom additionally owned and operated a hotel and restaurant until his retirement. Survived by his wife Rosemary Barrett; sons Bob and Tom Joan Barrett; stepsons Ben and Frank Hoff; stepdaughter Frances Morgan; grandchildren Todd, Tina, Michael, Daniel Barrett, Rachel Morgan and Joey Hoff. Tom adored his grandchildren and was very proud of them. Private family service will be held. Memorials to American Heart Association.
