I still miss you an awful lot, I still think about you every day. 

You have a grandson now! His name is Padrick Ellis Lytle and he is so beautiful, I wish I cold post a picture. Actually you have a grandson and a grandaughter, Blake's girl Krystina has a beautiful little daughter named Abby who will be 3 in July. Abby is a delight, I am so grateful for her and I am very grateful that Blake found someone as smart and pretty and as full of grace and well mannered as Krysti to love him. Padrick was born at  the end of January this year, he weighed 8 1/2 lbs when he was born and he is a very healthy baby. You would be so proud of Blake, he is such a good daddy. He works so hard to provide for them all and though they haven't got much they are well fed and warm and Blake never turns down any work he can get. Vincent, that baby is so beautiful, when he was born he looked exactly like the pictures of me when I was a newborn and he still looks a lot like my baby pictures though he is a much stouter baby and looks a lot like Blake did when he was an infant except his hair is very dark like mine. You would fall in love with him at once, you and Kim both and ya'll would be the most wonderful grandparents. Everytime I hold Padrick I think of you, I know you would be so proud and so very, very happy.

Pappy is in heaven now, Granny got there before you and Papa went right before her, then we lost our Meme in the spring of 2011. Pappy joined Granny and his twin brother Frank and his and Granny's youngest son Frank (named for his uncle) on December 23rd of 2013. Folks who die on Christmas Eve are supposed to go straight to heaven as the Pearly Gates are flung open wide on Christmas Eve, well Pappy was a day early but I know they let him right on in anyway, for one thing he's not one who waits around really well and for another I know that Granny and their son and his twin brother were right there waiting for him. Please tell him hello and let him know I miss him as well and I'm really really sorry I didn't get down to Shreveport to tell him goodbye. It isn't that I didn't want to, I just really didn't think he would pass so soon, he was still active and still very much himself right up until a week before he died. I wish I could have seen him while he was still himself one last time. I know I will see him again though, as I will see all of you again. And I am bringing a watergun and some googly eyes and a bottle of good whiskey if at all possible.

There's this show called Tosh.0 on TV now, it's funny as hell, you'd have loved it. Tosh is one sick effer, he shows internet videos of the most bizarre, funniest, most messed-up stuff ever. I'm not gonna describe them here because decent people might be offended and I don't want to upset any of your family who might check in and read this. 

Blake will be 21 in April, he is so handsome and smart. He is living in Port Orchard and works for a moving company. He's got some nice kids he hangs out with. You'd be proud of him. I guess he saw Maggie not long ago and says she's doing well.

So Newt Gingrich is thinking he might run for president. He is even more bloated and icky than ever. We finally got a black president last go-around, he's pretty good too. He's big on human rights even though the republicans do their very best to screw up every single thing he tries to do. Of course, fox news (deliberate lack of capitalization) is a bigger joke than ever only in the past few years it has become more and more a sick, stupid, hateful joke than a funny one. 

I know you're glad Shirley is there in heaven with you now, we sure do miss her here though. I do anyway, she was something else. I wish I'd gotten along with her better while she was with us, she was a firecracker. And I know Joe and Brian were glad to see you when you got there, I imagine y'all are having lots of good times hanging around together. We sure do miss you here. Please tell my grandparents I love them. I fear Daddy will be seeing y'all soon, he's got COPD and empheseyma and he caught pneumonia not long ago and he's not recovering very well at all. His doctor told him not to expect being around much longer. Also please look up Lucky and McStabbi for me and tell them hey and I miss them a lot. Yahoo Answers and Facebook are not the same without them. I know you'll pet all the doggies for me and give my little birdie a millet spray, would you? 

I can still remember exactly how your voice and your laugh sound, the way your eyes would crinkle round the outside edges when you would smile or laugh, the way you looked in the delivery room when the nurse handed Blake to you, your hair and clothes all full of sawdust when you would come home from work, that dawg will biiiiiiiiiiiiite yooooooooou, boy, where's that damn Messican he bettah gimme some dollahs or he outa here, f**k a job get a check, oh noooooo someone has sent me box o' kitties, observe the wild north american yardbird as he struts across 6th St against the light for a wily creature is he, bro-bro the clown, what has it got in its nasssssty little pocketses, and cartoons for medium-sized guys with bad haircuts. God I miss you and I hope you are at peace in the warm embrace of those who love you. I'll be along eventually but not yet, I have a grandbaby now and I think that means I get to stay awhile.

Vince was Toshi's good friend in Grade School Sunset Elementary until he moved away with his family. He returned as a young man and we had a good reunion.  Then, another long interlude of no contact but we had always hoped that when he got back to our area, he would eventually reconnect with us.  We all have very fond memories of Vince. I myself will always remember him as a very courteous 5th grader at play with Toshi and being especially kind to Sumiko, 3 years younger. And there's the Kim/Sumiko connection, too.  Such fond memories.
We're truly sorry for your loss and hope that memories of Vince will continue to live within you and keep you comforted.

There is so much I want to say but I would like people to know how Vince was in 2002 to present. He was my best friend my soal-mate and met so much to me. More then words I can even say. This is a little bit I can say about us. Our short life toghter was so special. I felt like Cinderella that is my cartoon favorite with him. He was my Prince Charming. We did and felt things that some people take a life time to achieve. I will always charrish our talks we had.  That were a big importand part of our life. One time as a joke I only married you for your X-Box. His favorite things in life were x-box, guitor, his long leather jacket, leather hathis Van Helsing look achieved. The most importand was the poster I got him for our wedding. It is a Salivor Dali. He could not beleive it but I remembered everthing he said in liked in his paitings. I also remembered what he told me what he hated in his paitings. Dali's art gallory in Florida. I felt so Bad it was just a poster but he said it was the best gift, material, any one could give him. One of the best day of our life was when we got married. We got married at the First Luthern Church of Richmond Beach. That was where I went when I was young. It also was right in the middle of both of our houses where we were young. For both of us getting married in the church was big. It was more important for him because it was in the eyes of god. For our first date, we were never apart. We meet camping with each other's good friends. It was just like we were met to be toghter at that time and forever. That weekend either of us were not going to go. We were both pushed, to go but it was the best thing ever for best of us. He is such a carring person and would do anything for anyone. In the last 5 years he had really changed and for the good. He was really trying to change his life for the good. It was a uphill battle. With me he said I was making it easier. He always wanted to protect me from the bad things. Something I did not know it was possable a person could be like that. I did not know that was a person that wanted to look out for me like him I could say that on and on forever. That was part of his big heart. I heard that a lot from family and friends, most of it was because of me. I got to him credit, too because he wanted us to grew old toghter, travel and do so much toghter. In fact the first time we went skiing he was really shocked. I left him in the dust. I kept telling him that I been skiing for over 20 years but he really did not beleive me. We did a lot of things in the outdoors. Which really suprised him how active I am. He was as also so shocked on how flexable I am. I was also willing to trying anything active. I never been a thin person but I never ever let that stop me. In fact it never bother me. In fact he got upset with people making fun of me. I never even noticed. He had great respect for me. He could not beleive that people were so mean. Also he was shocked that I did not care what people thought. He always did, it what mostly what people said in passing. We were so different that way, that is part of what made our friendship and marrage so special. He also liked the summer when he would go out on my family's waterski boat or sea-dooing. He told me he finally found a reason to be around besides Blake and Maggie. He told me that I was almost to good to be true for him. How he love my heart that was really important to him. That all I really wanted from him was love and a compation. I know that he had been hert by women and he did not know that a person could be like me. Vince told me everyday how lucky that we found each other. We wereareso good for each other. His weakness were my strengths and visa-versa. He was still into heavy medal but He loved all kinds of music like christian rock and how he would hold me and not let me go. That is when some special music to him was on. Espelly Jars of Clay Christian rocklisten to the music. I fact it is hard to count the number of concerts we enjoyed. Godsmack and Metallica were his heavy favorites. In fact he was so concented to Godsmack words. At the service they were played. Our friends said that was so him. He was that the only person they knew would have wanted  and would have loved that. I even got him to go to a Depeche Mode concert. That did not stop him calling them Depress Mode and hidding my cds. He enjoyed the concert along with Duran Duran concert. Even though he did not want people to know he really did enjoy them. I will never ferget the look on his face when I gave him the tickets to Queenscryche last year. For Mindcrime 1+2 an opera performance He turned into a little kid at the concert. I really loved his smile a smile with all of his face. His deap blue eyes are part of special features. He favorite was his arms. Boy he was vien like that but I would be able to bring him back down to earth.He wanted to more for his kids but it was hard after so long. He would go on and on how much he loved them. One of the biggest regrets was not spending more time with them. He was so greatful for the grewing reasionship Blake and him, that they were forming again. At x-mas he really valued the time he spent with Blake and the rest of this family. It was really hard for both of us to find out that we might not have our own children. I know that was hard on him but he made it possitive. He said that will give us more time with Blake. He also said it might not be the same but Blake and Maggie are still part of me. They are my children so in return they are yours also. That it not make it easier but that was his way of helping me.  I know he was disapointed but he just did not want to show me. Like I keep saying he really liked to protect me. He was always more worried about me. He would always be there for me. Was so carring and so special. I really like to thank my family for my support. Vince came to love my family even tough it did take him a while to understand them. I was so glad that him and younger brother Kris because good friends. After a rocky start he was well excepted into my family and it while for them also. Vince really respected my family. That was really important to me because we were are close. After this I can really tell how close we are. He was taken away from all of us to soon. Everyone should remember under his ruff personally was a really great guy who had a heart of gold. He always had good things to say about everyone. That is the person I loved and always will. What I really want people to remember about Vince and any love one first life is too short. Most of all NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST PEOPLE CAN CHANGE. MY LOVE FOR LIFE IS PROOF OF THAT. I will miss him and the things he did teach me. Which I know how much he knew what but I wish I could have told him more. Also you can never say "I love you never too much." He did say me it is never the words it is the actions. Speaking of actions I will miss him at the door with the kiss and hug which is the best part of my day. He never let me leave without my morning kiss goodbye. I will never understand how this can happen. Like Vince always told me God has a plan for everyone. I just wish it was just to soon for my love.
