Went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2002 after a long and courageous battle with complications of a stroke. She was surrounded by her family. Virginia was born on May 20, 1929 in Bennington, Kansas, to Thomas and Ruby Kelsey. She was married to Bill for over 53 years. She touched many lives and welcomed everyone with a big smile and open heart. She was Mom or Grandma to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Virginia is survived by her loving husband and primary caregiver, Bill; her six children, Linda Paul Theis, LeaAnne Rod Patzer, Leona, Ed and Fred Holzman, Lisa Jim Judd; six grandchildren, Christina Tom, Anna, Amy, Kelsey, John, William and two great grandchildren, Samantha and Stephanie. She is also survived by her mother, Ruby and sister, Betty, along with many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held Wed., June 5th at 10:30 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Mountlake Terrace. All are welcome to attend. Graveside services following at Evergreen-Washelli.
