After high school he attended Shoreline Community College from 1976-1979 where he was a media technician from 1977-1978. In 1980 he transferred to North Seattle Community College. During his childhood he enjoyed summers at the family cabin on Vashon Island where he was free to roam the beach looking for sea shells and just being a kid on a big adventure. He became an excellent sailor and would often sail the Livingston dingy. Riding motorcycles at Cedargrove near Concrete Washington with Keith Mains was another favorite past time. With his family Warren attended Trinity Methodist church and throughout his life enjoyed the annual Christmas bell ringing choir service. In 1983 Warren married Linda Maw on July 29th. Together they purchased a home in Shoreline Washington and had a lovely daughter, Elizabeth who was born February 8, 1990.
During different phases of Warren’s life he enjoyed gardening for his mother, his own homes and would annually go to the tulip festival in Stanwood to visit Rosen gardens to select bulbs to plant for the next year. He had always loved classical music. He had played the violin as a child and continued his love for music when he listened to Mozart and Chopin played by his partner James.
Warren leaves behind his ex-wife Linda Bow, daughter Elizabeth, his sisters Jeanette Moore, Diane Kinch and brother Jerry Bow. He also leaves behind his partner of 16 years, Dr. James Reid.
