William T. "Bill" Janik, 65, of Redmond, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in Kirkland. Bill was born April 25, 1948 in Blue Island, IL, the son of Matthew F. and Judith M. (Anderson) Janik. He married Karin L. Newmann on May 1, 1971 in Harvey, IL. Bill retired from Carrix in September of 2012 with 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, a daughter, Erika L. Janik and husband Matt Jensen, his mother, Judy, a sister, Janet Marsh and his four legged companion "Ollie." Bill enjoyed the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, visiting historic buildings, going to antique shows, reading, gardening, cooking and was a Star Trek fan.
