Willie N Molina age 85, a 50 year resident of Kirkland, WA, passed into the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ on the 12th day of June, 2022.
A loving, dedicated mother and strong independent woman, Willie took a leap of faith and left all she knew in Madera, CA. She pursued a job with the United States Post Office in Washington state in order to provide financial stability for her children. She eventually ended up working in Seattle where she enjoyed her letter carrier career of 30 years prior to retirement in 1998.
Willie devoured books and was an avid crafter, winning many ribbons for her original knit and crochet fair entrees. She enjoyed sewing for her family and her neighbors. Her open and welcoming heart meant that her relationships often ran much deeper than friendship. Mom sure did love a good laugh. Everyone that she came in contact with experienced her sense of humor and quick wit. We will forever love and miss her.
She was born on August 6, 1936 in Big Spring, TX to John WD Marsh and Maude Mable Hayes. She was preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings, twin sons Christopher John Edward (age 16) and Chester (Seajay) Cepriano Samuel (age 42), and son-in-law Lawrence Quetola (age 66).
Willie is survived by her twin sister Winnie Glasgow of Kelso, WA; Daughters Cepriana Scanlon (James) of Everett, WA, Christine Quetola of Seattle, WA, and Claire Taylor (Patrick) of Dover, TN; Daughters-in-law Carolyn Connelly (Arnie) of Marysville, WA and Karen Molina of Oregon; one son Steven Molina of Kent, WA; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
