Born to Elsa and Richard Rottman August 31, 1921 at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle. He attended Bagley Grade School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1939. He then attended Edison Business School, after which he worked for a CPA firm in Seattle. He was then employed by Thrifty Drug Stores of Washington, as office manager in Bremerton and Seattle. He retired after over 50 years years of service with this company. He leaves his wife, Alida; sons, Rick and Dan; daughter, Holly J.R. Petersen and her husband Louis; grandchildren, Angie, Erik, Karin, Lisa, and his sister, Mary Lou Jensen, her husband Paul and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service Tuesday, November 20, 4:00PM, First Lutheran Church of West Seattle, 4105 California Ave SW, Seattle WA. 98116. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to First Lutheran Church of W. Seattle, Union Gospel Mission or a Food Bank.
