Our Tribute to Our Mom, Yvette, and to God for Our Mom
We will always thank the Lord for blessing us with our Mom, a very special Lady. She was always there for us, guiding us, supporting us, praying for us. Better than anyone else, she knew our faults, yet loved us unconditionally. She was our champion and always hoped for the best for us and saw the best within us. She sacrificed for us and treated us with fantastic meals and gifts. We were her treasures and know we?ll always remain thus. Our loved ones and our children were warmly welcomed into her family. She especially loved her grandchildren.
Her love seemed boundless. She kept in contact with numerous friends and really enjoyed her French-speaking friends, church friends and those she worked for. She enjoyed being active and worked hard all her life and was always doing good things for others.
She loved the people of St. Luke?s. With them, she found joy, spiritual healing and further growth in the Lord. Her special love for Jesus pervaded her life and flowed into the lives of those she blessed and enriched.
I pray, with God?s help, we?ll continue growing like her and helping others.
Now, she is in heaven, where she has waited long to be. She is with Jesus and other loved ones that preceded her, including 5 children who died before birth and one son who died at age 22. They have waited a long time for her. It?s incredibly hard to know she is gone, to not hear her loving voice, to receive her warm hugs, to simply delight in her presence. Mom, we will always, always love you and miss all that you were and are. Enjoy yourself and keep praying for each of us.
Father God, thank You for the time we were blessed with our Mom and for all the precious memories. May You continue to lift up those she helped and encouraged with Your love and other servants.
Michelle, Maria and Kevin
