

Dee Richards, one of the partner owners of the Unique Boutique on Kingsbury Street in Seguin, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the age of 69. Friends and family are invited to Goetz Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:00 Am to celebrate her amazing life.
Dee, an outgoing, outspoken, flamboyant and funny lady was born to Fletcher and Doris (Smith) Williams on February 9, 1945 in Seguin Texas. She attended school in Seguin and graduated from Seguin High school in 1963. Dee was known for her high IQ, her artwork and her tenacity to speak whatever was on her mind. Her adventures took her to California where she became a well-known showgirl and a respected Cher impersonator. In 1982, Dee met Terry Peebles while working in a nursing home in Missouri and together began a lifelong relationship. In 1992 they moved from Missouri to Seguin where she and her Best friend Barbara Donnelly started BG’s Timeless Treasures in Seguin which later became the Unique Boutique.
Dee is survived by her husband Terry Peebles, her sisters; Cecilia Webb-Tate, Kay Beth Williams, her Brother Stanley Williams, Sisters; Cynthia Williams and Ann Grams as well as thirteen nieces and nephews, fourteen great-nieces and nephews and her best friend and business partner Barbara Donnelly.
