Ruth A. Wittig

Ruth was the first born to Julis and Pauline Krueger Holtz on October 6, 1949 on the Beesch Ranch in Karnes County TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Alvin Wittig; brother-in-law Henry Pape of Poth, Tx; sister Lois and her husband Harry Samsel of Karnes City, TX and brother-in-law Anton Pawlik of Marion, TX.

Survivors include her sisters Julia Foerster and husband August of Marion; Annie Pape of Poth, Pat Pawlik and Irene Fletcher of Marion and her brother William Schwab and wife Carrie of San Antonio. Other survivors also include numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at Goetz Funeral Home from 5 to 8 pm. A funeral services will take place on Wed. Feb. 27th at St. John Lutheran Church in Marion at 2pm with interment following at St, John Lutheran Cemetery.
