Betty was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Florida from Crystal Lake, IL. in 1970. She retired from JC Penney in 1988. She was a born again Christian. Betty enjoyed sewing, crocheting and sending encouragement cards to her friends.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Charles, whom she met in the church choir,a daughter, Maggie, and a son, Dan
three granddaughters, Katie, Jenny and Emily,four great-grandsons, Zachary, Caleb, Luke and Noah, two great-grand-daughters, Anna and Elizabeth, and two brothers, Warren and Walter.
Visitation held Monday, May 14, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with committal prayers and interment following at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery in Seminole, FL.
