Chris was born in Jamestown, New York and lived an exceptional life as a teacher, a loving father, husband and friend to many. Upon graduation from Mansfield University, PA. Chris married JoAnn Holgate and began an adventure of teaching in Europe and Asia.
While still overseas, Chris and JoAnn took a year to travel around the globe learning and growing together. After returning to the US, they took jobs in Florida and started their family. Along came Maria, Ellen, and Christopher, who thrived under his selfless parenting skills.
Chris loved his children and family more than anything. He also enjoyed his church choir, time on the golf course, and working around the house.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, (54 years together), two daughters Maria and Ellen, and his pride and joy and granddaughter, Elpida Ann. Also by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Services will be held on Monday, February 23 at 1:00PM at the Saint Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church in St. Petersburg Florida followed by the burial at the Garden Sanctuary cemetery, Seminole, Florida.
