HATIN, Gary L., 67, of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at home under the care of his loving family and hospice. Gary was born November 15, 1947 in Albany, New York, the son of Alphonse and Doris (Edmunds) Hatin. He moved to Florida in 1957 from Albany and worked as a welder, steel fabricator, and foreman. Gary raced Street Stock and Figure 8s at Sunshine Speedway in Pinellas Park in the 1980s.
He is survived by daughters, Renee Hatin and Heather (Jason) Marbet; a sister, Andrea “Andy” Cantara, and grandchildren, Darin Brown, and Alexis, Skyla, Ethan, and Jax Marbet.
Memorial services held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Park Place Wesleyan Church, 4400 70th Ave. No. Pinellas Park.
