The world lost a truly one of a kind human being on February 7. James was the most intensely loving and caring man to his family and friends. He always looked out for people. He loved nature, animals, and telling people how to do things. He was generous, sensitive, and had the most wonderfully irreverent sense of humor that would make those around him laugh and him cackle. He had so many witty and sometimes inappropriate Jimisms that are everywhere, and always got a kick out of stirring up a little mischief - he had to keep things lively and interesting! He was tenacious and unyielding. Silly, gentle, and wild. He was a fire that burned so bright he burnt out much too early. But a fire that warmed everyone and everything he touched. He is irreplaceable and will be forever missed and remembered. He was born in Marion, Ohio to Kathleen and Joseph Sansotta. He was the baby of the family and kept his older sister and brother busy with his ornery ways. He attended Marion Catholic High school and Ohio State University. Before moving to Florida, he managed the State Liquor Store. Jim was the director of materials management for Lake Seminole Hospital and then the Diagnostic Clinic Medical Group, where he also touched many lives. He leaves behind 3 adult daughters and 3 son in laws, 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson. He is also survived by his ex wife, brother, sister, nieces, nephews, an aunt, and cousins. Family was so important to him and he loved every one of his family and friends so much. He would want each of you to know that. Hanging in his bedroom, was a framed quote from Corinthians 13:13: “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” The love he gave and the love for him will always remain.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
A celebration of his life will be held later, but his untamable spirit would want you to celebrate him in your own way.
