Jane C. Kleckner Patrick

74, died peacefully in her home in Seminole on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, among the people, cats, and things she most loved. She had her own way of doing things, and on matters of taste she liked things simple -- "Remember, I'm 'plain Jane'." And true to her tastes, Jane told a few that her memorial should plainly report that "she lived, she died, she laughed, she cried."

But for all who knew Jane and her beautiful mind, Jane was anything but plain.

Jane was born in Lexington, KY and graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Social Work. For many years, she managed a family accounting practice in Dayton with her late husband, Michael Patrick. In 1982, Jane and Mike became Floridians, raising their family in Seminole. Jane will be deeply missed by her daughter, Colleen; her son, Michael; her broader family; and the countless others her life has touched.

A celebration of Jane's life will be held in the Spring, and details will be provided on the memorial page of Garden Sanctuary funeral home of Seminole, .
