

Johanna was preceded in death by her parents Esther and Jim Caridi, her brother Joseph Caridi, and two grandchildren, Austin and Christopher O’Loughlin. John H. Fay married Johanna when they were 20 on January 5, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY and John passed May 21, 2015.
They were a great couple for 68 (1947-2015) years. Johanna and John Fay had many friends. They hosted people at their home in Madeira Beach, FL.They were warm and welcoming. They raised their 5 children in Baldwin, NY; Karen(Gerard) O’Loughlin, Donna J (Ray) Phillips, David Fay, Coral (Thomas) Mosbo and Janice Fay-Walker. Johanna loved and enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Johanna was a talented artist. She painted pictures of the sea, flowers, covered bridges and landscapes.
You cannot separate Johanna from the PAL III, her parents 36 ft. cabin cruiser. This boat meant the world to her. She took over ownership in 1970. Johanna and John sailed the PAL III from Baldwin, New York to Madeira Beach, Florida in 1985.

John and Johanna will be buried together in the Fay plot in Hardwick, Massachusetts. A family memorial will be held in Colorado. In lieu of flowers, please send cards to: Donna J Phillips, 1844 Lump Gulch Road, Black Hawk, CO 80422.
